Bespoke One to One's

Group classes are a fantastic starting point and an opportunity for dogs to socialise, however there is no doubt that the fastest way to achieve the results you want is via One to One's.  This is an opportunity for undivided trainer attention to focus on a particular challenge you are facing with your dog or if you are just keen to take a deep dive in to getting to know your dog better and what makes them tick.

The trainer will first help you understand why the behaviour might be happening and what is motivating it.  Then, alongside gaining an understanding of your lifestyle, they will come up with a solution/behaviour modification that will work for both you and your dog.  You will be coached on how to implement the training, the do’s and don'ts, potential pitfalls and goals to aim for.  They will educate you further on your dogs' body language and the subtle signs they give, allowing you to anticipate their behaviour and redirect if necessary.

The number of sessions depends on a variety of factors such as what the behaviour is and how ingrained it has become, the individual dog (breed, age, temperament, previous experience), the individual owner (time available to implement training, family set up), however it becomes much easier to gauge once we have started the process.  One to Ones run for 60mins and will usually take place in my private home/garden.  Should the problem be location specific, trainers are happy to do home visits for a small extra fee.  A complimentary 15-30min telephone consultation is included before the first session.
